Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (?
Built in 1894 by the Chen family of 72 counties, this is widely considered the finest example of Lingnan (southern Chinese) architecture in existence. The roof ridges are covered in ceramic figurines?opera scenes, mythological creatures, dragons. Every surface is carved, painted, or gilded.

Yuexiu Park

Six Banyan Temple (?
A 1,400-year-old Buddhist temple with a 57-metre octagonal pagoda. The pagoda has survived 17 earthquakes and 3 fires. This is a working temple?you’ll hear monks chanting, see incense burning, feel the rhythm of faith that’s continued here since the Sui Dynasty.

Whampoa Military Academy
